The Drive Black is made for the start of your padel journey, when you are still learning exactly where the ball meets the racket. The middle of the face is generous, so shots you catch slightly off-centre still come back over the net with some direction.The feel is soft and springy, so the ball leaves the face without you having to swing hard for it and rallies keep going while your technique settles. It is kind on the arm too, which matters when a session is mostly drills and repetition.The neck is reinforced against twisting, so mishits and the occasional clash with the wall or your partner's racket do not shorten its life. If you want one racket to learn on and keep using as you improve, it is a sensible place to begin.
