Base grip versus overgrip
The base grip sits directly on the handle; an overgrip wraps on top and is replaced more frequently. Product titles often blur this distinction, so category and specifications matter.
Thickness changes handle size and feedback. Add layers deliberately and keep both sides of the handle even.
Compare packs fairly
Check quantity, colour variant and unit price. A bulk pack can look expensive while costing less per grip.
Replace an overgrip when traction or moisture management declines rather than waiting for it to tear.
